TargetWise for ChatGPT
Business data, inside your conversation.
Find companies and business contacts, enrich profiles, and look up work emails and business phone numbers. Uses your connected TargetWise workspace’s plan, credits and permissions.
Connect your workspace.
- Sign in to TargetWise → Developers. Select the workspace you want ChatGPT to use, then choose Enable ChatGPT. Your TargetWise email must be verified.
- For the existing private Sites plugin, use the same email for ChatGPT and TargetWise. In ChatGPT Plugins, open the TargetWise plugin shared with you. The Site owner can find it under Personal → Created by you.
- Choose Install or Connect and complete the displayed authorization. This endpoint uses the OAuth configuration of the provisioned Sites plugin; it cannot be connected as a new custom server with blank client credentials.
- In a new conversation, select TargetWise with @TargetWise. Ask it to check your connection first.

Never paste an API key into a conversation. The separate https://targetwise.ai/api/mcp endpoint is for clients configured with a workspace bearer key.

Use TargetWise to check my connection, linked workspace and available balance. Do not run a data lookup yet.The targetwise_account_status tool checks access without consuming credits. Once connected, use a known professional identifier and request only the fields you need.

Your workspace stays in control.
A workspace owner or administrator enables access. Each connection is bound to a verified email and, after its first use, a stable ChatGPT identity. Lookups use the same reservations, usage history, rate limits and account restrictions as your API calls.
To stop access, choose Disconnect in Developers or revoke the ChatGPT connector key. Removing workspace membership or administrator access also stops data calls. Enabling ChatGPT does not create another account or grant a new trial allowance.
To change the linked workspace, select it in your dashboard and choose Use this workspace. This replaces the old connection.

If a custom connection asks for an OAuth client ID, use the provisioned TargetWise plugin instead. A published endpoint does not mean TargetWise is listed in the public ChatGPT directory.
